Preface

Welcome to this delightful new issue of Jewish Fiction .net! In honour of our 20th issue, we bring you 20 fabulous stories, originally written in Yiddish, Hebrew, and English. And in celebration of Pesach, there are two stories relevant to this holiday: “The Seder” and “Making Matzah.”

This issue is dedicated to Nava Semel z”l, the esteemed Israeli author who recently died. Semel, from the very inception of Jewish Fiction .net, was a staunch supporter of this journal and a valued member of our Advisory Council.

We hope you enjoy the wonderful stories in this new issue and we wish you a beautiful, meaningful Pesach! Chag sameach v’kasher from all of us at
