Preface

Issue 23 brings to 400 the number of great works of fiction from around the world that Jewish Fiction .net has published so far. We are very proud of this accomplishment and we thank you, our readers, for your ongoing enthusiasm and support.

Also, to increase your comfort and convenience reading Jewish Fiction .net, our journal has recently been optimized for mobile devices. This means that, wherever you happen to be, you can now easily read our new issue on your phone.

Now to this sparkling new issue of Jewish Fiction .net! Here you will find 18 fabulous works of fiction, originally written in English, Hebrew, and Yiddish. In keeping with the upcoming holiday, we bring you a beautiful Rosh Hashana story (“Among the Chosen”). And in honour of the 100th yartzeit of the important Yiddish writer Jacob Dinezon, we include a charming story written by him.

We hope you enjoy the terrific stories in this issue, and we wish you and those you love a peaceful, fruitful, sweet, and healthy year.
